My Bio
I am an amateur photographer and have been taking photo's since the late eighties, I don't specialize in anything, I just love to take pictures. I am currently trawling my back catalogue, (which has been seen by very few people) so the portfolio will grow. 95% of what you'll see will have been copied from a transparency so the quality will be slightly down. I have just moved over to digital, but have no interest in picture manipulation, yet.
Oh yes! I'm also new to Pc's and online so please be patient with me.
Should you wish to purchase an image direct from the transparency please contact me via e-mail, quoting the five figure number.
Thank you all for your interest in my work....

Natural light.

I'm a natural light photographer, if the sun isn't out, the camera doesn't come out, is my motto,(90% true). I don't like flash, can't work with it very successfully, I find it,s a harsh light. A few days ago I spent all day following 'Mr West' around the flat taking photo's of him. I took about fifty images, (oh! the joy of not having to worry about film frames left, just chunk, chunk, chunk, chunk, all day long, and to be able to see the results immediately is just great) anyway, the image I posted on site recently (09007.Mr West) was the first one I took in that session, all the rest were flat bland light. the problem is this place I live

This entry is mainly for myself to ensure I don't duplicate anything. The five figure numbers you see with each image are broken down into two elements, the first two figures are the year the picture was taken, and the last three are the cataloging number for that year. 88001. 89037,052,101,242,637. 90043,067,202,387,453. 91246,333. 92006,082,083,155,335,338. 93021,026,039,072,612. 94007,023. 95001,004,028,041,045,091,110,165,296,307,374,391,392,402,412,481,508,513. 96016,026,046,097,108,122. 97021,053. 98020,022,069. 99101,136,142,148,150,153,170. 00017,111,113,115. 01019,022,063. 02001. 04037,051,054,057,064,067,163,166. 060

Hey there! You state that you're a stock photographer. But, surely, the pictures you have submitted are beautiful art!
Thank you for sharing them and welcome to dA!

Thanks, glad you like them, what I really am is an amateur photographer, but that option was not available so I went for 'stock'.
